Description
What this is
Interior Kit for the 1969-1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer.
A complete kit is the whole interior in one order, which matters more than it sounds. Sourcing panels, seats, carpet and trim separately over months means colour, grain and material batches that never quite match. Ordered together, they are made as a set.
The 1969-72 K5 is the first-generation full-size Blazer, and its removable-top layout means the interior gets far more weather than a closed cab ever does. Interiors on these are usually the worst-preserved part of an otherwise solid truck.
What ‘unwrapped’ means
These are the bare moulded ABS panels – the same CAD-developed substrate used under the finished kits, supplied without upholstery. You choose the material and have them trimmed locally, or do it yourself.
Why people buy them this way: it is roughly a fifth of the cost of a finished kit, and you get complete control of colour, material and stitch. If you already have a trimmer you trust, or you want to match an existing interior exactly, this is the sensible route. If you want it finished and fitted with no further work, buy the wrapped version instead.
Budget honestly for the trim work. Upholstery labour on a full set is a real cost and it is not included here. Get a quote from your trimmer before you decide the unwrapped route is the cheaper one.
Built to order
These are made for your order rather than pulled from a shelf. Allow four to six weeks for assembly. Shipping is quoted per order once the build is confirmed.
Fitting
These are custom aftermarket components for vehicles that are now fifty to seventy years old. Between factory build tolerance, past accident repair and previous restoration work, expect to trim or adjust during fitting – that is normal on any vehicle this age and not a fault. Professional installation is recommended but not required.
Product photographs may show renderings or example installations, and leather dye lots vary slightly between batches. If you are matching to an existing interior, order everything at once.
